Fried Rice Christmas Edition

For 2 servings:

boil 1 cup of rice in slightly salty water with a couple of thin slices of garlic (preferable not too wet), cool them down before frying

cut an onion, one red beet and 2 to 3 christmas meat cakes (medisterkaker)into small pieces

start a frying pan with oil, garlic and ginger, first add in onions and red beet, fry til they are slightly soft, then add in some (frozen) green peas, after the peas become soft, add in the rice, mix slightly, break in an egg and mix well (every rice gets covered by egg), last add in meat cakes and some corns

when done, before removing from heat, spice with couples drops of soy sauce, a pinch of cinnamon, chili, salt and pepper to taste

serve with some roasted sesame or pine nuts
