Spicy Lentil Carrot Soup

For ca 2 servings:

heat up some oil in a soup pot, throw in a small pinch of dry chili flakes and a small pinch of cumin or cumin seeds, stir them around until they start to release aroma

add in around 100g of red lentils (you can put in more lentils if you like) and around 300g of carrot pieces, put in enough water to cover them, bring to boil, then turn down the heat and let it simmer with the lid on for about 20min until the contents are cooked and soft

add in 2 tbs of milk or 2 ts of yogurt, then blend everything with a hand mixer until the soup is smooth, add in boiled water, salt and pepper for desired consistency and taste, serve warm with fresh grass leek sprinkles
